Operation Round Up

A Little Change Makes a Big Impact

Woodbury County REC offers a community service program called Operation Round Up.

Simply stated, Operation Round Up gathers voluntary contributions from participating REC members by “rounding up” their monthly bills to the next dollar. This would result in an average donation of six dollars ($6) per year, which would be distributed to worthy local causes. That is small change, indeed, to help local fire departments, ambulance squads, food banks, and other non-profit organizations.

Not one penny of the Operation Round Up funds would go to political parties or candidates or to for-profit businesses or organizations.
