Residential and Non-Residential water heaters must be 50 gallons or greater and have an Energy Factor of 90% or higher. To receive a rebate, the water heater must be under Switch Makes Cents load management control. This rebate applies to either new installations or water heater replacements. New Switch Makes Cents installations must have a minimum of 80 gallons of electric water heating capacity to qualify.
