Heating Equipment Rebates

Ground Source (earth coupled) Heat Pumps - $1,800 per unit

 An additional $200 will be paid for the installation of one desuperheater per building.  All units must be equal to, or greater than, Energy Efficiency “Energy Star” specifications of:

                               Open loop – COP of 3.6, EER of 16.2

                               Closed loop – COP of 3.3, EER of 14.1

                               Direct expansion – COP of 3.5, EER of 15.0

Air-to-Air Heat Pumps (including add-on heat pumps):

 All units must be equal to, or greater than, Energy Efficiency “Energy Star” specifications of:

                Minimum Energy Star Rating (currently 14.5 SEER) - $400 per unit

                Energy Star Rating of 15.0 – 16.0 SEER - $500 per unit

                Energy Star Rating of greater than 16 SEER - $600 per unit
